A few years ago I was seated at my kitchen table looking at nearly 12 inches of drifting snow and temperatures well below zero. At the time it was my fourth day at home. Don’t get me wrong, I love working at home away from workplace distractions, (that would be me distracting others) but there comes a point where it can get … boring. If I was to pick a time to be snowed in, this was as good as any. There were NFL playoffs, BCS bowl games, and loads of basketball on TV (much to my wife’s chagrin). I had plenty of work to complete as well, blogs to write, several to edit, and administration of five social networks. There’s been snow to shovel, meals to prepare, more snow to shovel, pets to feed, and more snow to shovel, but a board game or six would’ve been nice.

Promoting Fun with Board Games

In our fast paced, highly connected world, good old fashioned board games can bring us together. Rather than sitting in the same room checking our smart phones, laptops, and tablets we could be interacting. When’s the last time you laughed over a game of checkers. How long has it been since you tested your skills in a spirited game of backgammon? Maybe it’s time to stop being bored and get out the board games.

Get in the Game

Promotional board games are available as specialty products. Imagine your customer snowed in (or not) enjoying a rousing round of checkers, chess, cards, or more. And then imagine them surrounded by friends and family using your branded game set. Not a bad way to be remembered, is it? Nearly any game can be branded with your business name, logo, and tagline.
